WVU Athletics and Libraries Partner for the Mountaineer Touchdown Challenge
With your help, the Mountaineers’ success on the football field this season will also enhance students’ academic experience.
The WVU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the WVU Libraries are again partnering in the Mountaineer Touchdown Challenge, which benefits the WVU Libraries. Head football coach Dana Holgorsen and Athletic Director Oliver Luck ask alumni and fans to support the Libraries by pledging a set dollar amount per touchdown scored by the Mountaineers during the 2013 regular season and subsequent bowl game. Money generated through the Challenge will go to the Mountaineer Athletics Library Fund, which supports library resources.
If you’re up for the Challenge, simply complete the form below. Enter an amount per touchdown you’d like to give. At the conclusion of the football season, the WVU Foundation will tally your pledge and send you a statement.
If you would like to make an outright gift to the WVU Libraries, please click here.
For example, a pledge of $2 per touchdown, if the Mountaineers score 45 touchdowns over the season, will result in a gift of $90.
